How to Start the Primordial Vault: Terminus Range Quest
To begin the Primordial Vault: Terminus Range mission in Borderlands 4, you must first collect all three Vault Fragments.
Next, you must locate the Arch of Origo vault entrance, which can be found in a cave in the southern part of The Low Leys. You’ll find the entrance to the cave just west of the southern Auger Shrine!
Once you’ve found the vault door, place the Vault Key Fragments into the pedestal at the base of the broken arch.
Once inside, interact with the pedestal to officially start this mission!
How to Complete the Primordial Vault: Terminus Range Quest
The Timekeeper’s own progeny awaits you. Can you pluck his power from between its ribs?
Embrace the dying of the light
After accepting the mission, take the orange launchpad to reach the first area of enemies and wipe them all out.
Do not turn back in fear of your inevitable end
When it spawns, take the launchpad to reach a pit stop area. Once ready, continue forward and take out all the enemies.
Walk to oblivion with eyes wide open
After defeating the enemies, continue to the next pit stop area. Refill your ammo then move on to the next area with enemies that you will need to eliminate. In this area, you’ll face the Yawning Abyss. You must shoot the crystals on the back of its neck causing Vile Ordanite orbs to shoot out. Make sure to shoot them to eliminate the purple shield.
Keep going… the end is near
After taking out all the enemies, stock up at the vending machines, then take the launchpad to reach a rather small arena for the Primordial Guardian Origo boss fight.
This boss will have two bars of Shield and will switch between fire or ice attacks. For this fight, you are going to want to stay in the air as much as possible. On the ground, you’ll notice pieces of earth that you can pull away using your grapple, revealing a stream of air.
During the fight, the boss will do a slam down move. Make sure you are in the air for this attack as it will cause you to go flying off the platform. If you get caught in this, quickly grapple using one of the points along the edge! When it does this attack, the ground will also be coated in either fire or ice.
Lastly, watch out for its fire or ice breath as this attack can easily be avoided. After you take down the beast, the mission will complete. On the way out, be sure to loot the two red chests on either side of the purple rift.
