With the Order closing in, it’s up to you to step in, help them escape, and uncover just how messy their situation really is.

How to Start the Price of Freedom Quest
To begin the Price of Freedom side mission in Borderlands 4, use the green button on the left side of the red barrier to free Joe. You’ll find his prison southeast of the Final Defiance fast travel station, just before the Propaganda Speaker in the Carcadia District of Dominion.
How to Complete the Price of Freedom Quest
Joe and Sue are a loving, elderly couple who may or may not be up to their necks in a deeper-than-expected mess. Help them escape the Order.
Rescue Sue
To find Sue, you’ll need to head to the southern edge of the Carcadia District, just southeast of the Witness Construction Program. When you arrive, take out the Order forces then head through the door.
Inside, you’ll find that Sue has been holding her own.
Talk to Joe
After catching up with Sue, speak to Joe.
Retrieve packages
Next, you’ll need to help Sue and Joe recover three packages.
The first can be found on the north side of the search area on a high ledge.
The second can be found on the south side of the search area in a red-lit room.
The last can be found on the west side of the search area. Pull out the grate to find the last package.
Regroup with Joe and Sue
After you’ve found all three packages, head to the entrance of the Double Tap and speak with the couple.
Reach Double Tap
Head into the Double Tap to find Commander Rufford and his troops. Eliminate them! Next, approach Vito in The Double Tap. The side mission will then end.
