To begin the PowerDrop side mission in Borderlands 4, speak with Monty in the bunker at The Launchpad in The Howl during the Shadow of the Mountain main mission.
How to Complete the PowerDrop Quest
Buy a power core, drop it into the PowerDrop board, and win!
Purchase power core
Purchase a power core for $500 by interacting with the dispenser on the stairs.
Throw in power core
Once you have the ball, throw it into the brightly colored machine. You’ll need to repeat this process several times until you hit the center slot.
If you miss and hit one of the other spots, you’ll receive a reward, which will be dispensed at the bottom of the stairs. After you finally win the jackpot, you’ll get access to a red chest with random loot, and the side mission will end.
