All Koraidon & Miraidon Mount Abilities
At the start of your adventure in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you’ll be entrusted with caring for either Koraidon or Miraidon. While they serve as your primary mode of transportation across Paldea, they begin the journey in a weakened state, limiting what they can do.
As you progress through the Path of Legends storyline and defeat Titan Pokémon, your legendary mount will steadily recover its lost powers. Below, you’ll find every ability they can learn and how to restore each one.
Climb
The Climb ability allows your legendary mount to scale cliffs and mountains, opening up vertical exploration across Paldea.
You can unlock Climb by defeating the False Dragon Titan at Casseroya Lake in the northwestern region of Paldea during the Path of Legends storyline.
Dash
Dash significantly increases your riding speed, making it much faster to travel across long distances.
This ability is unlocked after defeating the Stone Cliff Titan in South Province (Area Three) during the Path of Legends storyline.
Glide
Glide lets your legendary companion soar through the air, allowing you to safely descend from high places and access previously unreachable locations.
To unlock Glide, defeat the Quaking Earth Titan in the Asado Desert, located between Porto Marinada and Cascarrafa during the Path of Legends storyline.
High Jump
High Jump enhances your mount’s jumping ability, allowing you to reach elevated ledges and platforms that were previously out of reach.
You’ll unlock High Jump by defeating the Lurking Steel Titan in East Province (Area Three), just northwest of Levincia, during the Path of Legends storyline.
Swim
The Swim ability allows your legendary mount to traverse rivers, lakes, and the ocean, dramatically expanding where you can explore.
You can begin swimming after defeating the Open Sky Titan in the northwestern part of West Province (Area One) during the Path of Legends storyline.
