No. 197 Shield Fossil Display Habitat Guide
A display of ancient Pokémon fossils. This specimen’s large neck frill was as sturdy as a fortress wall.
How to Build the Shield Fossil Display Habitat
Grass, trees, rocks, furniture, and other items can be placed near each other in certain combinations to create Pokémon habitats. Placing the same combination of items in a different location – such as near water or in a high place – might even create a different habitat altogether!
When you create a new habitat, a Pokémon you haven’t yet registered in your Pokedex may appear there. Trying to make all sorts of habitats to meet a wide variety of Pokémon friends!
You can get the Pedestals / Exhibition Stands from the Museum in the Rocky Ridges, while you’ll need to dig up the fossils by using Rock Smash on the glowing ground that you come across. To build it, place the two stands side by side, then construct the fossils by connecting them together on the stand. It’s easier if you start with the body.
To build this habitat, you’ll need the following:
- Pedestal / Exhibition Stand x2
- Shield Fossil (Body) x1
- Shield Fossil (Head) x1
- Shield Fossil (Tail) x2
Shield Fossil Display Habitat Pokémon
Many Pokémon can be found lurking in the Shield Fossil Display Habitat. As you move through this habitat, you may notice the grass shaking. This means that you can interact with the grass to reveal a Pokémon! Different Pokémon can appear depending on their rarity, the time of day, and the weather.
