Welcome to our Path of the Potter subquest guide for Tales or Arise: Beyond the Dawn. Here, we’ll cover how to start the quest, what you’ll need to do to complete it and the rewards you’ll receive at the end. This subquest is also a character subquest for Dohalim. Happy Questing!
How to Start the Path of the Potter Subquest
To begin the Path of the Potter subquest, you need to first reach the For Whom main quest. After that, go to Ulzebek in Calaglia and talk to the pottery merchant on the west side of town, beyond the fountain.

- Speak to the Potter
- Acquire 3x Stone Fragment
- Deliver the Materials to the Potter
- Search for High Quality Clay
- Deliver the High Quality Clay to the Potter
Speak to the Potter
Speak to the Potter to start a cutscene in which Dohalim admires the quality of the Potter’s pot and inquires about the clay. The Potter reveals that the clay is made from zeugle parts. Intrigued, Dohalim expresses his desire to try it himself.
Acquire 3x Stone Fragment
To satisfy Dohalim’s curiosity, you need to collect 3 Stone Fragments. If you don’t have them yet, go to the Iglia Wastes and defeat Golems there. They drop stone fragments along with other items.
Deliver the Materials to the Potter
After gathering all the materials, go back to the Potter and talk to him to hand over the zeugle parts. While doing this, Dohalim will inquire about glaze. The Potter answers by explaining that he uses a high-quality clay from the Shinefall Woods.
Search for High Quality Clay
Go to Shinefall Woods in Ganath Haros and head for the southern tip near the campfire. There’s a small pond there with a spot you can interact with. Do so to find the High Quality Clay.
Deliver the High Quality Clay to the Potter
Return to the potter in Ulzebek with the clay and talk to him to finish the subquest.
