Digimon Story Time Stranger Pabumon Field Guide

Pabumon Overview (In-Game Profile)
The Slime Digimon looks like a mere bit of sea-green froth at first glance, but it’s actually a totally autonomous creature with a plethora of expressions. Pabumon’s delicate surface means it has practically no defense or prowess in combat.
It creates infinite tiny foam clones from the pacifier-like object in its mouth. This ability was originally used to develop computer viruses, but Pabumon’s lack of life force made for poor implementation. Life is fleeting for this adorable Digimon baby. It uses Adhesive Bubble Blow to release bubbles from its body to bind enemies, giving Pabumon a chance to escape.

Pabumon Digivolution

Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is important, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
Pabumon cannot de-digivolve, as it does not have any previous evolutionary forms.
Digivolution
Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
Pabumon can digivolve into the following forms:
| Digimon | Requirements |
|---|---|
| Motimon | Agent Rank 1+ and 400 Max HP+ |
| Yokomon | Agent Rank 1+ and 160 INT+ |
| Tanemon | Agent Rank 1+ and 370 Max HP and 140 INT+ |
