Orochimon Overview (In-Game Profile)
An enormous Dark Dragon Digimon with eight heads. Seven of these are fakes, however, with only the black one in the center actually being part of its body.
Orochimon’s origins date back to long ago, when it wrought havoc in the Ancient Digital World. Its strength was such that it drove an entire area to the brink of destruction, until it was sealed away by the servant of a being seeking to maintain harmony in the Digital World.
Orochimon’s special move is Ame no Murakumo, which transforms the end of its tail into a sharp blade to rend its foes.

Where to Find Orochimon
Orochimon cannot be found while exploring the Human or Digital Worlds. To add Orochimon as a partner in Digimon Story Time Stranger, you’ll need to digivolve a lower-generation Digimon or de-digivolve a higher-generation Digimon into Orochimon. Refer to the Orochimon Digivolution section below for more information.
Orochimon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.

Digivolution
Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
