How to Start the Order of the Virtuous Blood Quest
To begin the Order of the Virtuous Blood quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, spend time in the Imperial City’s Temple District, and Ralsa Norvalo will approach you. Offer to help her out to learn that her husband Gilen has a matter of utmost importance that only you can help with. She’ll then tell you to meet him at someone named Seridur’s house, where everything will be explained!
Order of the Virtuous Blood Walkthrough
Meet Gilen
To find Gilen, head to Seridur’s house in the southeastern part of the Temple District in the Imperial City. Go inside and speak with Seridur (or Gilen), then follow him down to the basement. This isn’t creepy at all! 🙂
Once you reach the basement, you’ll learn that three present are vampire hunters! Speak with Seridur about the vampire to learn that they would like you to slay Roland Jenseric, whom they believe is a vampire.
Investigate Roland Jenseric
Now that we know what’s going on, it’s time to begin investigating Roland. Travel to his house, just north of Seridur’s House in the Temple District. You’ll need to lockpick the door to gain entry.
Straight ahead on the table set for two, read the small Love Letter from Relfina, which is on a book.
Find Roland
Now that you’ve learned of a cabin where Roland might be hiding out from the letter, make your way there! You’ll find Roland Jenseric’s Cabin northeast of the Imperial City.
Once there, head to the side of the cabin to find an open door, then walk inside and speak with Roland to hear his side of the story. Afterward, tell him that you’re not going to kill him.
Speak with Phintias
Since you’ve decided to give Roland a chance, you must now investigate his story. Travel to the First Edition bookshop in the Imperial City’s Market District and speak with Phintias inside about Seridur. To get him to talk, you’ll need to persuade him. Once he has a better opinion of you, you’ll learn that he frequents a place called Memorial Cave.
Investigate Memorial Cave
Now that we have a heading, set out for Memorial Cave, which lies southeast of the Imperial City.
Once you arrive, head inside the vampire-infested cave. As you fight the vampires, make sure to collect all the Vampire Dust as you can trade them in for money later!
To progress through the cave to the objective, take a right when you see a fire on the left side of the path.
Follow the main path to the end and speak with Seridur.
You’ll learn that he is indeed a vampire, and the conversation will turn hostile. Take him out, then loot his corpse!
Report to Roland
Travel back to Roland’s cabin to give him the good news. Surprisingly, you’ll find out that he wants to continue the Order of the Virtuous Blood and plans to take Seridur’s place.
Meet Roland in Seridur’s Basement
Travel to Seridur’s house in the Temple District and go down into the basement. Once at the bottom, speak with Roland to receive the Ring of Sunfire. The quest will then be completed! Speak with him again about vampires to learn that if you bring him Vampire Dust, he’ll give you 250 gold for each one!!!
