Welcome to NGB’s guide for the One Gassy Issue side mission in Borderlands 4. Beth needs Locust Gas canisters to fuel her experiments, and it’s up to you to get the gas flowing. Head to the Sorting Facility, overcome any obstacles in your way, and help her blast the gas back into her lab to keep her plans on track.

How to Start the One Gassy Issue Quest
To begin the One Gassy Issue side mission in Borderlands 4, speak with Beth at the Lakeside Properties.
How to Complete the One Gassy Issue Quest
Beth needs Locust Gas canisters to blast back into her lab. Head to the Sorting Facility to get the Locust Gas flowing throughout the city.
Reach sorting station
After accepting the mission, travel to the Locust Production Facility in the far southern part of the Fades District. Once you arrive, press the button to call the elevator.
Unfortunately, the gears will get stuck, so use your grapple to pull them from underneath the elevator.
Reach Locust gas storage room
On the eastern side of the room, pull down the grate blocking the vent then head inside.
Follow the path to reach the storage room and defeat the enemies inside.
Connect Locust gas engine
On the eastern side of the room, pull both levers on either side of the giant circle. To reach them, move the platform suspended from the ceiling suspended on the western side of the room. Afterward, hack the terminal.
Reach sorting station entrance
Continue through the facility until you finally reach the sorting station. When you arrive, defeat all the enemies. Afterward, you’ll need to disable the force fields by hacking the computers. Enemies will spawn each time you hack one of the computers!
With the door open, you’ll be greeted by the station defender. Take it out!
Reroute Locust gas throughout city
After taking down the station defender, interact with the computer in the area the station defender came out of to complete this mission. Locust Gas Dispensers will now be unlocked throughout Dominion City! Use them to destroy any Bio Armor covering secrets and rewards.
