Okuwamon Overview (In-Game Profile)
A Digivolution of Kuwagamon, evolved into something even more sinister than a Kabuterimon-type Digimon. The predominant improvement is its defense, which Kuwagamon lacks.
Okuwamon’s ability to detect foes with its antennae has been boosted, and its pincer attacks have augmented precision. Furthermore, it’s clear that its most prominent characteristics aren’t only its survival instinct, but also its destructive impulse. Truly a Digivolution steeped in aggression.
Its special move, Double Scissor Claw, is an upgraded version of Scissor Claw that’s able to slice through even the hardest diamond.

Where to Find Okuwamon
Okuwamon cannot be found while exploring the Human and Digital Worlds. To add Okuwamon as a partner in Digimon Story Time Stranger, you’ll need to digivolve a lower-generation Digimon or de-digivolve a higher-generation Digimon into Okuwamon. Refer to the Okuwamon Digivolution section below for more information.
Okuwamon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.

Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
