Exploring Early Wishvale

Once you exit, speak with your father on the east side of your house, then select the “Contend” path action to begin a sparring session with him. After that, the village opens up for exploration.

For the main story, you’ll need to approach Lavore the Carpenter’s house in the center of town on the east side of the Item Shop. Inside, you’ll meet the carpenter and his daughter, Stia, who will become your new companion!

Before visiting the church to progress the story, take this opportunity to practice Path Actions, gather items, and learn more about the villagers.

Wishvale Trail – Chests & Enemies

Before leaving the village, we highly recommend that you acquire at least the following items via Path Actions and equip them:

  • Leather Helm – From Jasper near save point
  • Leather Armor – From Watchman Karan in the tavern
  • Enlightening Earing – From Deacon Laurana in the church

With your tasks in the village complete, head south to leave the village and enter the Wishvale Trail in search of the Azure Flamestone. This area is perfect for practicing combat mechanics and collecting items. Explore the area or simply make your way to the northeast, where you’ll find a cave with a mysterious person.

Returning to Wishvale

Back in Wishvale, return to the town square and speak with Deacon Laurana to hand over the Azure Flamestone. This will open more Path Actions around town.

Once you’ve finished exploring, head to the meadow north of the church to find Stia. After your conversation, return home to rest up for the festival.

Festival

Upon waking, you’ll find the festival in full swing! Make your way to the church for some fun dialogue, then head down to the farm to check out the fresh veggies. Afterwards, enter the tavern and speak with Deacon Laurana.

Once you are completely ready for things to turn upside down, travel to the town square and speak with Priestess Yaya to participate in the Enkindling.

During the ceremony, the village will be attacked by Scarlet Wing soldiers.

Return to Wishvale

When you arrive, you’ll reunite with Stia, who will want to build a workshop. Speak with her to get started, and she’ll ask you to clear out some rubble. Interact with the seven pieces of rubble to clear the land just west of Stia.

Once you finish, she’ll ask you to collect lumber from Wishvale Trail. To find this building material, enter Wishvale Trail, then search for the green sparkles marked by an “!” on the map.

After finding enough lumber, return to Stia, who will then build the workshop. Once built, Nomos will appear, giving you a ring and informing you about the three greedy ones. After selecting one of the three paths, the Prologue will end!
