Digimon Story Time Stranger Octomon Field Guide

Octomon Overview (In-Game Profile)
A Mollusk Digimon discovered in a virus that a malicious hacker used when trying to crash a rival’s computer. Octomon is an obsessive collector, sporting claws at the ends of its tentacles that it obtained from Devidramon’s data, and covering itself in Digi-Treasure that it scavenged from the depths of the Net Ocean.
Many Fujitsumon, which are a small type of shellfish Digimon, have attached themselves to the pot that Octomon wears on its head. These Fujitsumon have highly developed senses, and it’s believed that they are part of a symbiotic relationship with Octomon, warning it when they sense danger.
Octomon’s special move, Spurting Ink, fires out a blast of highly poisonous ink.

Octomon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
