How to Start the Zero Visibility Quest

To begin the Zero Visibility quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, travel to Aleswell along the Red Ring Road, northwest of the Imperial City. Once you arrive, enter the Aleswell Inn to trigger a conversation with Diram Serethi. He’ll tell you that the local inhabitants were turned invisible a couple of weeks ago and will request your help resolving the issue.

Find Acotar at the Ruins of Fort Caractacus
To reach Fort Caractacus, you’ll want to travel a short way down the hill, southeast from Aleswell. Upon arriving at the ruins, head inside and work your way up to the 2nd floor to find Acotar’s room. After you pass through its doorway, look to the right to spot a desk with Ancotar’s Journal on it. Read through the journal to learn that he was indeed behind the locals turning invisible.

To find Anaotar, you will need to keep your eyes peeled as he, too, is invisible. You should be able to see his outline wandering around the fort. We found him near his room and on the third floor. Speak with him and make sure to exhaust all of his dialog options. He’ll give you a scroll to be read in the middle of town along with Ancotar’s Ring of Protection.
Reverse the Spell
Return to Aleswell. You’ll then want to enter the garden in the middle of town and stand at its center. Also, be sure to equip Anotar’s Ring of Protection. When you’re ready, use the Reverse Invisibility scroll. You’ll need to equip it first and then use the spell button. This will return everyone to normal. You’ll then be approached by Diram who will thank you for your help.
As a reward, you’ll be able to stay at the Aleswell Inn for free whenever you wish!
