How to Start the Whodunit? Quest

To begin the Whodunit? quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, you must complete the Night Mother’s Child Dark Brotherhood quest. Upon doing so, Whodunit? will start automatically.
Whodunit? Quest Walkthrough
For this contract, we’re going to a murder party! Five guests will be trapped in a locked house with you, and your job is to kill them each individually without the others catching on or witnessing the act. If you can pull that off, then you’ll receive a bonus reward!
Party Prep
Before attending the party of murder, be sure to come prepared. You can do this by equipping the Deceiver’s Finery robes that you would have earned if you completed the bonus from the Bad Medicine quest. We also made sure to bring a dagger with us. If you don’t have one, you can find a steel dagger in the manor on the first floor resting on a desk.
Travel to Summitmist Manor

When ready to start the redrum, travel to Skingrad, southwest of the Imperial Capital along the Gold Road. Once you arrive, head for Summitmist Manor near the Skingrad – East Gate and speak with Fafnir near the entrance.

Scope Out the Targets
Upon entering the manor, you’ll be greeted by Matilde Petit, who will give you the rundown on all partygoers. When you get the option to ask her about individuals, raise her disposition to 70 to learn how she feels about them.

After that, you can speak with the four remaining guests. You’ll need to raise all their dispositions to 70 to learn their true feelings for each other. The order in which you talk to them doesn’t matter, but make sure to speak with Primo before Dovesi. They can be found wandering around the three floors that make up the manor.
Begin the Killing
We implemented our plan around 9 p.m. While speaking with Dovesi, we told her Primo liked her and suggested she wait for him in his room.

We followed her to the living quarters and watched her enter Primo’s room. While she was in there, we shut the door and went to the room across the hall where Neville was. Since it was late, he laid down and slept in his bed. We shut the door and used this moment to sneak attack him with our dagger. We then crossed the hall and took care of Dovesi with another sneak attack.
This brings us down to three people hovering around the table on the second level of the manor. We hid on the stairs and waited for Matilde to wander close by, away from the others. That is when we hit her with a sneak attack, leaving two left. With tensions high, young Primo took it upon his self to cut down Nels. After this, he began pacing back and forth between the table and the stairs. We hid in the stairwell again and snuck up behind him to finish him with one final sneak attack.
Before leaving, give the place a once-over, looting anything you fancy. One thing to note is that Neville will have a key on him, and if you enter his room and use it to unlock his chest, you can get a complete set of heavy Legion armor.
Return to the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary
Now that all five targets have been eliminated, return to the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary and speak with Ocheeva. This will complete the quest and reward you with 200 gold. If you managed to earn a bonus, you’ll receive the Night Mother’s Blessing, which will permanently increase your Sneak, Security, Acrobatics, Blade, and Marksman skills by 2 points each.
