How to Start the Unfinished Business Quest
To begin the Unfinished Business quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, speak with Azzan in the Anvil Fighters Guild after completing The Unfortunate Shopkeeper quest.
Unfinished Business Walkthrough
Report to Vilena Donton in Chorrol
Travel to the Chorrol Fighters Guild and speak with Vilena Donton inside about duties. She’ll then instruct you to speak with Modryn Oreyn.
Speak with Modryn
Speak with Modryn in the Fighters Guild about duties.
Find Maglir
Next, travel to Skingrad and speak with Maglir in the West Weald Inn about Brenus Astis’ Journal. He’ll tell you that he defaulted because the job is not worth the money the guild is paying for the dangerous assignment.
Retrieve the Journal
Travel to Fallen Rock Cave, which is northwest of Skingrad. Once inside, take a right then follow the tunnel to reach an open room. In this room, take the path on the right.
This path will take you through a waterlogged area. You’ll find Brenus Astis’ Journal next to a chest at the dead end. Grab it!
Speak with Maglir
If you speak with Maglir, he’ll tell you to bring the journal back to Modryn to complete the job and tell him what you will of Maglir. At this point, you can either tell Maglir that you’ll report his failure or lie and tell him that he did the job. Your choice with him does not matter.
Speak with Modryn Oreyn
Travel back to Modryn in the Chorrol Fighters Guild to either report the truth about Maglir or lie. You’ll receive 400 gold either way.
