How to Start the Purification Quest
You’ll begin the Purification quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered automatically after completing the Of Secret and Shadow Dark Brotherhood quest.
The Purification Quest Walkthrough
Purify the Cheydinhal Sanctuary
To complete this quest, you must kill all members of the Cheydinhal Dark Brotherhood!
With a heavy heart, it’s time to get to work. Return to the Cheydinhal Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary to begin the rite of Purification. You must slay Ocheeva, Vincente, Antoninetta, Gogron Telaendril, M’rraj-Dar, and Teinaava. We picked them off individually, starting with those in the training room and living quarters, before moving to the main room. While attacking one, the others didn’t engage in combat with us until we attacked them, except for the wandering skeleton, who attacked us when he saw us attack Vincente.
Once we cleared the sanctuary, it became apparent that Telaendril wasn’t there. She will be in one of several locations, which should be marked on your map after you read the note on Ocheeva. Track her down and take her out to conclude the rite of purification.
Report Back to Lucien
Now that the Cheydinhal Dark Brotherhood is no more, return to Lucien at Fort Farragut to let him know the rite of Purification has been completed. You’ll be promoted to the Silencer Rank and be rewarded with the magnificent steed, Shadowmere. This will also complete the quest. From now on, you’ll receive your contracts through dead drops.
