How to Start The Killing Field Quest
To begin The Killing Field quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, speak with Valus Odiil at The Grey Mare in Chorrol.
The Killing Field Walkthrough
Valus Odiil is concerned about his sons, who are going to fight creatures that have been appearing in the woods outside of Chorrol. Agree to go and help them!
Travel to Weynon Priory
When you’re prepared for a fight, travel to Weynon Priory just outside of Chorrol and speak with the brothers standing in the road.
Afterward, follow them to Odiil Farm. When you arrive, defeat the waves of goblins! Be sure to make a quick save, as the goblins can kill the brothers. If either or both die, this could impact your reward.
Speak with Valus
Once all the creatures have been slain, report back to Valus. The Killing Field quest will end, and you’ll receive the Chillrend. This one-handed shortsword blade has the Frost Damage on Strike and Weakness to Frost on Strike effects.
