How to Start the Caught in the Hunt Quest
To begin the Caught in the Hunt quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, speak with Ursanne Loche in Bravil about Aleron Loche and agree to help her.

Caught in the Hunt Walkthrough
Aleron owes a great deal of money to an Orc usurer named Kurdan gro-Drago. He went there a day ago to beg for more time, and hasn’t returned since.
Visit Kurdan
Travel to The Lonely Suitor Lodge in Bravil and speak with Kurdan gro-Drago about Aleron Loche. He’ll want a favor from you before he reveals any details about Aleron.
Collect the Axe
Exit the inn and cross the bridge. Take an immediate right and descend to the dock with the boat. Interact with the boat to fast travel to Fort Grief.

Once at Fort Grief, turn the handle to the right of the gate.

Next, head inside the ruined keep and speak with the surprise wandering around inside to learn that you’ve been duped.
Escape!
Enter Hunter’s Run and defeat all the hunters inside. As you defeat them, loot their Hunter’s Run keys. The path is relatively linear with a bunch of traps! After defeating two hunters, you’ll reach an Old Wooden Door to The Hunter’s Abyss. Head inside then continue along the path. Open the gate and defeat Kurdan’s Orc Hunter. Loot the Fort Grief Key then head to the southwestern side of the room to find a shortcut to the beginning.
Find the Way Out
When you exit to the outside, you’ll see Kurdan kill Aleron. He’ll approach you and the conversation will quickly turn hostile. Defeat him then loot his corpse to get the real key to leave. You’ll also need to defeat Kurdan’s archer, Ra’jhera the Keeneye.
Before leaving, loot Aleron Loche’s body if you wish to get Loche’s House Key.
To leave Fort Grief, enter The Hunter’s Run and use the real key on the gate to the left. Turn the handle inside to open the gate outside.
Deliver the Bad News
To quickly reach Bravil, interact with Kurdan’s boat. Once in Bravil, return to Ursanne to deliver the news. As a reward, you’ll receive the Biography of the Wolf Queen. The quest will then end.
