For this contract, you’ll need to infiltrate Fort Sutch and replace the medicine of the debilitated warlord Roderick with a poisoned bottle Ocheeva gave you. Additionally, you must remain undetected while doing so. Otherwise, you’ll lose out on the bonus.

Travel to Fort Sutch

Before setting out for the fort, make sure you have some lockpicks on you. When ready, travel to Fort Sutch, located in the western part of Cyrodiil, north of Anvil.

Specifically, you’re looking for the ruins of a tower, which are slightly north of the spot where the objective marker is. Enter the tower ruins and drop down the hole in the middle of the floor.

From there, enter the missing section of the wall on the south side and follow that path to reach an old wooden door leading to Fort Sutch. Use it to enter the fort while sneaking! This is important as if you don’t, then you’ll most likely be caught on the other side.

Replace the Medicine with Poison

Be sure to stay in sneak mode the whole time you are in the fort!

Once you’re in the fort, look to the right to find a locked gate with an average lock. You’ll need to pick that lock to gain access to a tunnel. Follow that tunnel to the end, where you’ll reach another gate with an average lock you’ll need to pick.

After you’ve opened the second gate, head straight until you reach the wall on the other side of the room, and then take a left.

You’ll then want to head straight until you reach the statue on the right. Take a right before the statue and enter the doorway ahead.

Go up the stairs, then take a right, left, left to arrive at another set of stairs. Climb up them and keep heading straight ahead to reach the medicine cabinet.

You’ll then want to interact with the cabinet, removing Roderick’s Medicine and replacing it with Roderick’s Poison by finding it in your inventory and placing it in the medicine cabinet. Now that that’s done, retrace your steps to escape the fort without anyone noticing you.

Return to the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary

Fast travel back to the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary once you make it back outside and speak with Ocheeva to inform her that the contract has been completed. You’ll be rewarded with 200 gold in addition to the Deceiver’s Finery if you managed to complete the bonus objective.
