How to Start the A Venerable Vintage Quest
To begin the A Venerable Vintage quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, travel to the Wawnet Inn near Lake Rumore on the west side of the Imperial City. Once there, go inside and speak with Nerussa behind the bar. Ask her about wine to get her to tell you about the rare Shadowbanish Wine that she’s been coveting. She’ll then request that you bring her six bottles of it.

Find Six Bottles of Shadowbanish Wine
Fort Grief
You’ll come to Fort Grief during the Caught in the Hunt quest. After activating the handle to the right of the gate, the gate will open.
Once inside the gated area, head all the way up to the top of the tower to find a hard lockpick wooden chest. Open it to find two Shadowbanish Wines.
Fort Ivory
This wooden chest can be found in a room with statues.
You’ll find this chest at the spot shown on the map below.
Open it to find two Shadowbanish Wines.
Fort Magia
Travel to Fort Magia, which is just east of the Imperial City. Make your way through Fort Magia until you reach the Garrison Blocks.
Here you’ll find a flooded room with a bunch of tombs. You’ll find this chest propped up on one of the tombs.
Open it to find two Shadowbanish Wines.
Deliver the Shadowbanish Wine
Return to Wawnet Inn and deliver the six bottles of Shadowbanish Wine to Nerussa. As a reward, you’ll receive 1,000 gold and the quest will then complete. Furthermore, she’ll offer to pay you for any additional bottles of Shadowbanish Wine that you find.
