To begin the Never Meet Your Heroes side mission in Borderlands 4, speak with Hunter just northwest of Belton’s Bore in The Low Leys.
How to Complete the Never Meet Your Heroes Quest
This young vault-hunting enthusiast wants to see a real vault hunter in action, so show him what you’ve got!
Shoot target
Next to Hunter, shoot the target on the light post.
Get up there
When you are ready, head to the house and use the grapple point to reach the roof.
Glide over there
Now, he’ll want you to fly, so glide to the small building’s roof in the valley to the southeast.
Ground Slam that
From the roof, look back toward Hunter to find a platform that you’ll need to slam down on.
Follow Hunter
Follow Hunter just northwest then kill the Manglers that appear. After he learned his lesson, follow him back to where he was to complete the mission.
