How to Start My Hero
Travel to the Outskirt Stable located in southwest Hyrule Field, northwest of the Great Plateau. Along the main road heading south from the stable, you’ll spot a giant tree with a girl standing under it.
Speak with them to meet Aliza, who is waiting to meet the hero of Hyrule under the sacred tree, as it was foretold.
My Hero Quest Guide
Prove Link is the Hero of Hyrule
For Link to prove that he is indeed the hero of Hyrule, you’ll need an object deeply tied to the hero of old. That Master Sword! If you happen to be already wielding the sword of legend, then this quest will be completed as fast as it began. If you don’t have a sword, you’ll need to get your hands on it.
The Master Sword can be found in Korok Forest, north of Central Hyrule, stuck in its pedestal before the Great Deku Tree. Before setting out for the forest, you’ll want to make sure that you have at least 13 hearts. This is the requirement to pull the sword from the stone! There is also a shrine there you can complete to unlock a fast travel point back to the forest, if you would rather head there now and return later.
To reach Korok Forest, travel to the Woodland Stable in the northeastern part of Central Hyrule, then follow the road northwest. It will bring you to the Lost Woods. Once you arrive, you’ll need to follow the directions of the embers emitting from the torches set up in the woods. When you reach a set of torches, side by side, you’ll need your own fire source, such as a torch, to continue following the ember. They will guide you to the Korok Forest.
After you have the Master Sword, return to Aliza and speak with her once more. Show her the sword to prove that Link is the hero she’s been waiting for. She will then present him with a Star Fragment, which will complete the My Hero side quest.
