How to Start the Mutt Quest
You’ll automatically begin the Mutt side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance II after completing the Laboratores main quest.
Mutt Walkthrough
Find out what happened to Mutt
Head to the objective along the road to the northwest of Bozhena’s Meadow. Once there, you’ll find a Vagabond looting a corpse. You can negotiate with him or defeat him in combat. Afterward, examine the corpse he was looting. Next, examine the nearby corpse of the deer.
So you can actually find Mutt and encounter the wolves during the Invaders side quest if you side with the Cumans, travel to their camp, and complete their tasks. If you do this, you’ll bypass all of the below questioning about Mutt!
Ask the herbwoman about Mutt
Head over to Bozhena at her house in Bozhena’s Meadow and ask her about Mutt.
Try and ask the fisherman about Mutt (optional)
Travel up to the northeastern side of Vidlak Pond and speak with the Vidlak fisherman sitting next to a campfire. Ask him about Mutt.
Go and ask the shepherd from Kopanina whether he’s seen Mutt
Head east to find Herdsboy Sigfried near his home and ask him about Mutt. He’ll want you to deal with some wolves.
Head towards the objective with Ignatius in tow. When you reach the birch trees, speak with Ignatius and tell him to lie down. You’ll need to drop a carrot on the ground in the clearing between the cluster of trees to get him to listen.
Afterward, use the prompt near the trees to hide and wait for nightfall. When the wolves arrive, take them out. Some might run off and Siegfried won’t be happy if that’s the case, but regardless you’ll find out that Mutt wasn’t there. Wait for day then speak with Siegfried to tell him about the wolves.
Ask the Innkeeper at the tavern about Mutt
Speak with Innkeeper Lawrence at Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn in Zhelejov.
Ask the Gamekeeper about Mutt
After completing the Lackey side quest, ask Vostatek about Mutt.
Find Mutt
Travel to the woods southwest of the Nomads’ Camp. As you approach the objective, a cutscene will trigger where you’ll be reunited with Mutt. Unfortunately, a pack of wolves shows up. After reading through your dog’s tutorial, you’ll need to either kill the wolves or flee.
No matter your choice the Mutt side quest will end! Before you leave, make sure to enter the cave. Inside you’ll find an awesome ring!
