How to Start the Missive from the Lost Days Side Quest
To begin the Missive from the Lost Days side quest in The Outer Worlds 2, you’ll need to speak with the Secretive Elder resting at his camp near the Guardian Estates in the southwest corner of Dorado’s Guardian Estates.
To reach it, starting from the Guardian Estates fast travel point, back up a little bit to find a path that splits off to the left (with the estates entrance on the right). Follow it all the way to the elder’s camp.
Missive from the Lost Days Walkthrough
Collect the First Set of Documents
The first set of documents can be located in the locker room of the Tram Station.
Once you reach the top of the estate, enter the tram station on the east side. You’ll then want to take the next right to reach the locker room.
Loot the Suspicious Datapad from the lockers.
Collect the Second Document Set
You’ll find the second set of documents in the main house of Guardian Estates. It will be in the room with the brothers on a table. Either defeat the brothers as part of the For a Few Digits More task or just quickly run up and grab the Tattered Ledger then peace out.
Deliver the Old Man’s Files
After you’ve found both sets of documents, return to the Secretive Elder to hand them over. After some dialogue, the quest will be completed, rewarding you with XP, bits, an Advanced Decryption Key, and a non-unique Peaky Trench Coat.
