In this quest, Link sets out to rescue a group of stranded travelers who have been surrounded by monsters in the Gerudo Desert. How to Start the Missing in Action Quest
To begin the Missing in Action side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, speak with Sesami at Gerudo Canyon Stable.
How to Complete the Missing in Action Quest
Sesami and his friends ran afoul of monsters near the roads at Koukot Plateau. Sesami ran for his life, but his friends vanished into thin air. Sesami was traveling with four friends. Find them quickly and put him at ease.
Find Sesami’s Four Friends
For this quest, travel northeast along the road to Koukot Plateau. When you arrive at the objective, you’ll find a structure on the side of the cliff filled with Moblins. Take them out as you work your way to the top.
Sesami’s Friend #1 – Canolo
At the top of the wooden scaffolding, look to the left to spot the first of Sesami’s friends being attacked by a Moblin. Take out the enemy, then speak with Canolo.
Sesami’s Friend #2 – Oliff
To find the second friend, head east along the narrow wooden walkway to find and speak with Oliff.
Sesami’s Friend #3 – Palme
Next, continue east along the walkway and watch out for the exploding barrels the Moblins will throw at you. Just after this group of Moblins, keep heading south along the walkway to find Palme at Mount Naboro.
Sesami’s Friend #4 – Flaxel
Backtrack all the way to where the Moblins were throwing explosives. Once there, climb up the ladder on the left and continue making your way to the top where you’ll find Flaxel on a ledge jutting out high above the road. The chest behind her contains fire arrows.
Return to Sesami
After finding all of Sesami’s friends, return to him at Gerudo Canyon Stable. As a reward for completing his task, you will receive 300 rupees.
