How to Start Providing a Spark
You will automatically start the Providing a Spark quest while processing the game on 06/26. The protagonist will check with Neuras, who seems to be going through something. Upon further investigation, Neuras will admit to losing that spark that drives him as an inventor. This prompts the quest to find the relic that ignited it to begin with.

Find Out More About Komero
To learn the location of Komero, you’ll need to start the Hatching a Plan quest in Matria. Upon accepting it, the quest giver will show you how to reach Komero.
Travel to Komero
To complete this quest, you’ll need to travel to Komero. Doing so will take up an afternoon, so take that into account when you decide to go. Along the way, you will get to do one activity to help pass the time. After arriving in Komero, you’ll automatically receive Glass Ornament and Inventor’s Journal.
This will then trigger a cutscene with Neuras, who will review the times with you. During it, he’ll ask for your continued support in hunting down relics. Once the quest is complete, you’ll start the Relic Search: Inventor’s Bequest quest.
Rewards
For completing the Providing a Spark quest, you’ll receive 5 Hero’s Incense and forge a new bond with him, unlocking the Gunner Archetype.
