Character Overview
Neuras was the royal engineer and was tasked with building the gauntlet runner for the crown prince. You’ll first meet him on 06/24. With Neuras, you’ll gain the Gunner Archetype! Rank Neuras’ bond up to gain new abilities for the Gunner Archetype.
Neuras Bond Abilities
- Rank 1
- Gunner Archetype – The party can now study the Gunner.
- Rank 2
- Bombardier – At the start of battle on the gauntlet runner deck, enemies take damage.
- Gunner Enlightenment – Reduces the MAG cost of studying the Gunner Lineage.
- Rank 3
- Gunner Archetype: Adept – The party can now study the Sniper.
- Rank 4
- Scion’s Skill – Increases skill inheritance slots for the Gunner Linage to 2.
- Rank 5
- Bombastic Bombardier – At the start of battle on the gauntlet runner deck, enemies take even more damage.
- Bunner Veneration – Significantly reduces the MAG cost of studying the Gunner Lineage.
- Rank 6
- Scion’s Merit – Increases skill inheritance slots for the Gunner Linage to 3.
- Rank 7
- Seedling Synergy – Increases the number of plants that can be harvested in the Plant Culture Chamber by 1.
- Rank 8
- The party can now study the Dragoon.
- Scion’s Essence – Increases skill inheritance slots for the Gunner Lineage to 4.
Neuras Bond Ranks
Rank 1
Neuras’ Rank 1 bond will be unlocked after completing the Providing a Spark quest. Once you’ve unlocked Rank 1, you can study the Gunner Archetype at Akademeia.
Rank 2
To start Neuras’ Rank 2 bonding event, you’ll first need to complete the Relic Search: Inventor’s Bequest quest. After doing that, Gallica will inform you that Neuras would like to speak with you. Travel to the Engine Room on the Gauntlet Runner at night to find and speak with him.

After it completes, Neuras’ bond level will increase to Rank 2, unlocking the Bombardier and Gunner Enlightenment abilities. Bombardier will cause enemies to take damage at the beginning of battles on the Gauntlet Runner, while the Gunner Enlightenment ability reduces the MAG cost of studying the Gunner Lineage.

To do Neuras’ Rank 3 bonding event, you’ll need to complete the Relic Search: Dregs of Destiny quest.

Rank 4
After finding the Youth’s Folly Relic Search, speak with Neuras during the night on the Gauntlet Runner, choosing the “Now that you mention it…” option to show him the latest relic.
