Welcome to NGB and our walkthrough for the Necromancer Takedown Operation mission in Metaphor ReFantazio! Here, we’ll cover everything you need to know to take down Louis’ necromancer in an effort to stop his grand plans!

Necromancer Takedown Details
Necromancer Takedown is the first real quest you’ll start automatically after completing the Prologue. During this time, you’ll be given ten days (06/12 through 06/21) to stop Louis’s necromancer from obtaining the king’s staff. In addition, you’ll need to try to find a lead on Louis’s whereabouts.
Necromancer Takedown Walkthrough
Taking Down Zorba
To complete Necromancer Takedown, you’ll need to work your way through the Grand Cathedral, heading for the Scepter Chamber, where Zorba awaits! Once you’re there, a series of cutscenes will take place, during which you’ll have to pursue the necromancer to the roof. Once there, you’ll have to engage him in battle! Boss Fight: Zombra
When you finally reach Zombra, he’ll be Level 19 and have no weakness. He does, however, resist fire, ice, electric, wind, and dark skills. The necromancer will summon 2 Corpsethralls (weak to fire) to aid him in battle and will keep summoning them as they are defeated. He’ll also buff them and try to inflict paralyze on your party. Using the Jump Thrust Synthesis skill from the Knight Archetype to lower his defense, you can deal some decent damage to him. Also, it would be helpful to have a healing skill or two. Once he goes down, the battle will end, and the quest will be completed. This will then lead right into the Thwart Zorba’s Plan main quest.
