Catacombs
You’ll first come to the Catacombs during the main mission, Necromancer Takedown. You will not be able to explore the catacombs fully at that time. It will open up after you progress to Martira during the main story.

Mausoleum Catacombs Enemies
The majority of the enemies you’ll find in the catacombs are the Soldier Malmorta. There will be some slimes and floating Spekto thrown in the mix as well.

Mausoleum Catacombs Misc
Quests
There are two quests that will bring you to the Mausoleum Catabombs, not counting your first visit during the Necromancer Takedown main quest.
Boss Fight: Kadablich
This is the boss you’ll face during the A Haunted Heirloom quest.
For this boss fight, we’ll face the Level 25 Kadablich accompanied by three Soldier Malmoras, one of each type. You can make quick work of the soldiers by hitting them with light magic. Taking them out first will allow you to focus on the Kadablich who is also weak to light magic. He’ll occasionally try to inflict Hex on the party by casting Curse Chant. Hex makes it so you take damage after an inflicted party member attacks. He’ll also use dark magic that can hit the whole party and likes to cast Life Steal, which takes HP from one of your characters and heals him for the damage. You’ll also want to make sure not to hit the boss with physical attacks. It will repel them, causing the attack to hit themselves for extra damage.
Once the boss goes down, you’ll destroy the crystal and receive the Black Jewel Necklace. You’ll also get 762 EXP, 672 A-EXP, 853 MAG, some reeve, a Seer’s Earring, the Weeping Blood Staff, and a Cheater’s Dice. The Seer’s Earring is an accessory that gives +6 magic, while the Weeping Blood Staff is a weapon for the Mage that gives +3 magic with 170 ATK and 96 HIT. The Cheater’s Dice can be sold at any merchant.
