What to Do with Metaphor ReFantazio Gold Beetles
Gold beetles can be found around the world, so make sure to check every nook and cranny! Someone will happily trade items for them.
Where to Find Metaphor ReFantazio Gold Beetles
Northern Border Fort at Mountain Forest Camp
After fighting the first Human of the game, you’ll find yourself resting at the Mountain Forest Camp with your new comrades. This beetle can be found next to a tree behind Stohl. It is missable!
Abandoned Tomb
The gold beetle can be found in the southwestern corner of the 3rd Floor. To reach it, you’ll need to climb up to the 4th Floor and take the most southern ladder down.
Belega Corridor
3rd Floor
At the Belega Corridor, head to the 3rd floor (going down), then make your way to the pair of treasure chests near the center of the map. You can reach them by finding a small hole in the wall. You’ll find the gold beetle in there. More information about its location is in our A Bullish Embargo guide.
Eht Ria
Chief’s House
The gold beetle can be found next to the Masked Soldier by the Chief’s House. You can find it up the ladder heading west from Shillek’a Weaponry.
Clumsy Boy
After the story events on Virga Island, speak with the Clumsy Boy near the Inn, and he’ll give you a gold beetle for helping the island.
Near the Inn
This gold beetle can be found northeast of the inn, to the right of the path leading towards the middle of the village.
Forsaken Tower
Forsaken Tower Floor 5
You’ll find the gold beetle on the 5th flower of the Forsaken Tower next to the railing in the middle on the north side.
Gracia Forest
Gracia Forest
You can find the Garcia Forest gold beetle in the northwestern corner of the area.
Imp’s Den
Goblin’s Nest
The gold beetle can be found in the northwestern corner of the Goblin’s Nest near the most northwestern black-cloaked Goborn. You’ll come here during the New King of the Imps bounty.
Land of Ceremony
Floor 3
You can find the gold beetle on Floor 3 in the Land of Ceremony dungeon in the southern part of the room just before the boss.
Orbwise Path
This gold beetle can be found on the eastern side of the starting area in the Orbwise Path.
Port Brilehaven
Arenafront Wharf
You’ll find this Gold Beetle near the rightmost building next to some crates.
Merchant’s Bazar 1
You’ll find this Gold Beetle to the left of the Black Cat’s Claw in the alley.
Merchant’s Bazar 2
You’ll find this Gold Beetle near the Oceanan Navy Recruitment Centre next to a stack of crates.
Seabreeze Street 1
To reach this Gold Beetle, head to the alley east of the Wary Shopkeep then head north. When you reach the split, go left to find this Gold Beetle by a stack of crates.
Seabreeze Street 2
You’ll find this Gold Beetle on the west side of the area by the dock just past the Calm Ferryman.
Royal Capital Grand Trad
Sunshade Row
The gold beetle on Sunshade Row can be found on the backside of the stairs near the Comfort Concoctions shop.
Sunshade Row – Comfort Concoctions
- Gold Beetle 1 – Found by sticking your hand in the sack by the door
- Gold Beetle 2 – Behind some pots. They will be moved after starting the Ancestral Solution side quest.
Royal Army Recruitment Centre
You can find this gold beetle by heading down the hallway to the right of the soldier manning behind the counter.
Scoundrel’s Hold
Floor 2
The gold beetle is on the second floor of Scoudre’s Hold. You’ll need to work your way to the bottom floor to find it.
Spire of Blind Faith
Floor 5
The gold beetle in the Spire of Blind Faith can be found on the 5th Floor of the spire.
Tomb of Lament
Upper Level
Crawl through the hole in the wall behind the Plateau Mirage (near the boss’s room), then head south down the hallway. It will be the end guarded by a Pyrite Imitec.
Lower Level
This gold beetle can be found on the northwestern side of the lower level. You’ll need to crawl through a hole in the to reach it.
Tradia Desert
Traveller’s Graveyard
The Gold Bettle is located in a bush on the northeastern side of the map, next to a grouping of rocks.
