Gauntlet Runner Layout
The Gauntlet Runner acts as your base while the party is on the road. In the subsections below, we’ll list each area of the Gauntlet Runner, along with what you can do there.
Strategy Room
The strategy room contains a round table with a map in its center. Interacting with the table allows you to pick a destination for the Gauntlet Runner.
Lounge
In the lounge, there is plenty of seating for the crew to rest. There is also a bookshelf with books to read.
Kitchen
You’ll find a cooking table in the kitchen which you can use to prepare meals for everyone.
Engine Room Corridor
The engine room corridor is at the bottom of the Gauntlet Runner, where More hangs out. There are also a few activities down there that you can do to increase your base stats.
Engine Room
Just past the Engine Room Corridor, you’ll find the Engine Room where the engine resides.
Deck
You can access the Deck via a ladder from the hallway before the Strategy Room. It will allow you to view the scenery on top of the Gauntlet Runner while it heads to your destination.
Rear Deck
The Rear Deck (also known as the Back Deck) is accessed at the end of the Central Corridor, opposite the Strategy Room.
Watchtower
To reach the Watchtower, you’ll need to climb up the ladder in the Strategy Room near the Round Table.
Gauntlet Runner Activities
Book Reading
If you head to the lounge, there will be a bookshelf in the corner that you can interact with. It contains an assortment of books that the protagonist can read to increase his Royal Virtues. More books will be added over time. We’ll list below when new ones become available.

Cooking Meals
In the kitchen, you can cook meals for the crew. These meals will have unique effects that could help turn the tide of battle by healing the party or damaging the enemy. You can earn the King of Cuisine achievement/trophy by making all the recipes.
Increasing Stats
You can find an upright cleaning tool and a washing machine in the Engine Room Corridor on the lower level of the Gauntlet Runner. The cleaning tool will help increase the Max HP of the protagonist, while the washing machine will increase his Max MP.
Hanging with the Crew
After the initial day on the Gauntlet Runner, you’ll get activities you can do with the crew that will increase your Royal Virtues.
Misc Items in the Gauntlet Runner
You can collect a couple of items while exploring the Gauntlet Runner. We’ve listed them below, along with where they can be found.
Pantry
You can reach the pantry from the central corridor on the main level of the Gauntlet Runner. Once inside, interact with the shelf to receive some Mellow Milk and Fragrant Spice.
Kitchen
Interact with the cooking table in the kitchen to an assortment of ingredients along with 8 new recipes.
