Character Overview
In Metaphor: ReFantazio, Gallica plays a dual role. She’s both a traveling companion and the guide, crucial in helping the protagonist on a quest to save the prince. Though her size keeps her out of direct combat, her fairy heritage gives her unmatched magical skills and the unique ability to detect magla, far surpassing the protagonist’s capabilities. With Gallica, you’ll gain the Mage Archetype! Rank Gallica’s bond up to gain new abilities for the Mage Archetype.
Gallica Bond Abilities
- Rank 1
- Mage Archetype – The party can now study the Mage.
- Rank 2
- Mage Enlightenment – Reduces the MAG cost of studying the Mage Lineage.
- Follower’s Echoes – The voices of Followers can now be heard, even from far away.
- Rank 3
- Mage Archetype: Adept – The party can now study the Wizard.
- Monsterology Scholar – Enemy analysis in Squad Battle is now more detailed.
- Rank 4
- Scion’s Skill – Increases skill inheritance slots for the Mage Lineage to 2.
- Fae Sight Acuity – Fae Sight now yields more detail inside a dungeon.
- Rank 5
- Mage Veneration – Significantly reduces the MAG cost of studying the Mage Lineage.
- Rank 6
- Scion’s Merit – Increases skill inheritance slots for the Mage Lineage to 3.
- Rank 7
- Scion’s Essence – Increases skill inheritance slots for the Mage Lineage to 4.
- Rank 8
- Mage Archetype: Elite – The party can now study the Elemental Master and Warlock.
- Victory Foresight – During Squad Battles, you may gain extra Turn Icons.
Gallica Bond Ranks
Rank 1
Gallica’s Rank 1 bond will be unlocked automatically during the main story on 06/06.
Rank 2
You will unlock Gallica’s Rank 2 bond on 06/11 while progressing through the main story.
Rank 3
Rank 3 for Gallica’s bond level will unlock in Martira after you have put a stop to the kidnappings once and for all by completing the Apprehend the Real Kidnapper quest.
Rank 4
To unlock Gallica’s Rank 4 bonding event, you’ll need to complete the Infiltrate the Charadrius main quest.
Rank 5
You’ll unlock the Rank 5 bond for Gallica after the events of Louis’ Soiree in Port Brilehaven on 8/13.
Rank 6
Gallica’s Rank 6 bonding event will be unlocked once you’ve completed the Eliminate Virga Island’s Threat main quest on Virga Island.
