Welcome to NGB and our walkthrough for days 06/12 through 06/21 in Metaphor ReFantazio! Here, we’ll cover everything you need to complete during these days.

06/12 thru 06/21 Details
Necromancer Takedown is the first real quest you’ll start automatically after completing the Prologue. During this time, you’ll be given ten days to stop Louis’s necromancer from containing the king’s scepter. In addition, you’ll need to try to find a lead on Louis’s whereabouts.

The activities listed below can be found across the Royal Capital Grand Trad and will progress the time of day if you choose to partake in them.

Activist Woman
The Activist Woman can be found on Sunshade Row across from Confort Concoctions. The first time you speak with her, she’ll ask if you’ve had any negative experiences since coming to town and then state that she’s part of a group trying to help people whose tribal origins make them targets for harassment. She’ll then request that you donate 250 reeve to help out. Agreeing to do this prompts Gallica to notice that she seems down. You can then spend time with her, increasing your Eloquence Royal Virtue by two points per session. Choosing to do this will progress the time of day.
Chatty Elder
The Chatty Elder on Sunlumeo Street stands out in front of Nau Filono Tavern. Speak with him, and he’ll point to our fairy friend, stating that his family has a bit of history with fairies in the form of stories his parents told him growing up before bed. He’ll then offer to share some with you. Spending time with him will increase your Imagination Royal Virtue by two points and cause the time of day to progress.
Fabienne
At night in the Husehd Honeybee Inn, you’ll be able to speak with Fabienne about helping her out. Choosing to do this will cause time to progress, but you’ll also increase your Tolerance Royal Virtue by 2 points.
Grand Trad Podium
The Grand Trad Podium is in the Regalith Grand Cathedral near the King’s Rock and will be available starting on 06/29. Interacting with it will allow our protagonist to give a speech to the masses, increasing his Eloquence Royal Virtue by two points.
Masked Man
The Masked Man can be found on Sunshade Row along the path heading west from the Hushed Honeybee Inn. If you speak with him, he’ll offer to tell you more about the Mustari race, thus increasing your Tolerance by two points per session. Choosing to do this will progress the time of day.
View of the Royal Capital
The View of the Royal Capital can be found on the northeastern side of Sunlumeo Street near the Lycaon Magic Association. Interact with the bench there to sit and observe Gallica. This will increase your Wisdom Royal Virtue by two points and cause the time to progress.

Misc. Events
Angry Man
The Angry Man can be found on the eastern side of Regalith Grand Cathedral. Speak with him, choosing either option, and he’ll give you a Magla Pill, which restores 20 MP to one ally.
Coronation Rocks
Travel to the Coronation Rocks in the Regalith Grand Cathedral and talk to the Sentry standing guard on its left side. When prompted, choose the Coronation Rocks option, which will trigger a little event, giving you some MAG.
Deferent Staff
Talk to the Deferent Staff in Nau Filono Tavern to receive a Soothing Sweetbun.
Eating Competition
To participate in the eating competition, travel to the Regalith Grand Cathedral at night and speak with Hammy Shopkeep. He’ll tell you about their famous Mountain of Meat Skewers that you can partake in for 150 reeve. Doing this activity will reward you with a Gilded Cutlery to sell and slightly increase your renown ranking with the people.
Gold Beetles
Gold Beetles are found around the world in all kinds of places. There is someone out there who will take them off your hands.

Wandering Student
You can find the Wandering Student near the Herb-Seller in Regalith Grand Cathedral. Speak with him, and he’ll tell you about the country while giving you a Curative Coney Roast. His favorite meal to eat.
Man in Pain
Speak with the Main in Pain located on Sunshade Row near More, who will ask if you have any Medicinal Herbs. He is saying that his stomach is killing him, and he needs some relief. Gallica will then comment that he’s in rough shape and tell you how many you have on hand. Agree to share them, and the man will reward you with a Hero’s Incense. It’s an item that will increase Archetype experience for a single Archetype by 100 exp.
Nervous Soldier
Speak with the Nervous Soldier who is standing in the southwestern corner of the Regalith Grand Cathedral. He’ll be complaining about a noble making him go to the mausoleum…
Daily Calendar from 06/12 Through 06/21
Our Daily Calendar section will focus on completing side quests, bonding events, and miscellaneous things required for achievements/trophies. In between, we’ll fit in some activities to raise the Virtue Stats. We also wanted to note that depending on what you’ve done so far, the available events/activities could differ from what we have listed below on the dates we did them.
06/12
Afternoon
You’ll want to start out by visiting all the shops and locations to unlock each fast travel point. Once that’s done, you’ll want to do everything under the Misc. Events section above to collect some helpful items. After that, you’ll want to complete the Pagan’s Dilemma side quest and then start Help the Hushed Honeybee. After speaking with Nidia in that side quest, head over and do the View of the Royal Capital activity to progress the game to the night while adding 2 points to your Wisdom Royal Virtue.
Night
Now that night has rolled around, there are more Misc. Events you can do, including a food-eating contest that will slightly raise your renown among the people. After doing that, head to the Hushed Honeybee Inn and speak with Fabienne to start working there, which will progress the time to 06/13.
06/13
Afternoon
The first thing you want to do is to complete the Help the Hushed Honeybee side quest by reporting to Nidia. This will reward 4 more points to the Wisdom Royal Virtue, which is enough points to level it up to Rank 2. You’ll now have access to purify equipment at St. Fermis Chruch. Additionally, you can now speak with Brigitta outside the Lycaon Magic Association to start the A Bullish Embargo side quest. You’ll also want to stock up on items because it’s time to pursue the Necromancer! To manage activities better, we’ll complete the Necromancer Takedown quest in one go. This means that we’ll head all the way through the dungeon and defeat the boss.
From this point, go to the Catacombs Entrance and enter the dungeon! We have a Necromancer to take down. Just past the entrance of the catacombs, you’ll run into the pinked-haired Paripus Woman. While speaking with her, you’ll start the A Friend in Need side quest. After the conversation, head deeper into the catacombs to reach the Grand Cathedral. Night
After returning from the Cathedral, the party will automatically head for the Hushed Honeybee Inn, which will trigger another cutscene.
06/14
Afternoon
Now that the Necromancer has been dealt with, this would be a good time to work on the A Bullish Embargo side quest. Doing this quest will progress the time of day to night once you return to the city from the Belega Corridor. Completing this quest will reward you with the Merchant Archetype. Also, make sure to check out our quest guide before going. There are certain items you can buy to make the fight against the Level 22 boss a bit easier.
Night
Since you did a dungeon during the day, the party will travel to a tavern or inn upon returning to the city to rest up from their excursion.
06/15
Afternoon
On 06/15, most shops will have sales, so it is a good day to pick up any necessary equipment or items. The shops with the discounts will be colored red on the map. Make sure to take care of any buy or selling first. Once you finish that, travel to Brigitta to turn in the A Bullish Embargo side quest. This will form a bond with her, unlocking the Merchant Archetype. Doing this will progress the time of day to night!
Night
On the night of 06/15, we decided to make some Redgrass-Roasted Bidou at the Hushed Honeybee Inn. The achievement/trophy “King of Cuisine” requires you to make all the recipes, so we wanted to knock this one out of the way. At the Hushed Honeybee, speak with Fabienne and select “I want to make Redgrass-Roasted Bidou.” She’ll then give you a list of ingredients you must collect to make the dish.
Our next stop will be to speak with the Knowledgeable Man and purchase the Ingredients of Grant Trad and Secret of the Redgrass Shop from him. You’ll need both of these to purchase the items from the shops. He can be found either in the Hushed Honeybee or just outside, leaning against the wall. After doing that, travel to Regalith Grand Cathedral and visit the shops listed below to purchase the items listed. You only need one of each, but we got four of each to have some extra materials. One other thing to mention: when speaking with the Herb-Seller, you’ll need to mention that you knew Grius before he sold you the redgrass.

With all the ingredients on hand, return to Fabienne and speak with her, choosing the Redgrass-Roasted Bidou option again to start making the dish. When Gallica suggests tweaking the dish, choose the “Let’s stick to the recipe” option. This will get you an extra Tolearnace point.
06/16
Afternoon
Now would be a good time to travel to the Regalith Grand Cathedral town area and check the coronation rock by speaking with the Sentry. This will reward you with some MAG. After that, we will hang out with Strohl on Sunlumeo Street for the afternoon to raise his bond level to Rank 2. You can check out our Strohl bond guide if you need more information.
Night
For the nighttime activity, we will stop by the Lycaon Magic Association and speak with Brigitta just outside. Choose to hang out with her to increase her bond level to Rank 2. You can check out our Brigitta bond guide for extra information.
06/17
Afternoon
Today’s agenda is to hand out with Hulkenberg to increase her bond level to Rank 2. Speak with her in the Hushed Honeybee Inn by the counter in the back. If you need any additional help, you can refer to our Hulkenberg bond guide.
Night
For the night of 06/17, we will spend it doing one of the activities in our Available Activities section. Since it’s early in the game and we don’t know what all will need in the future, feel free to pick any of them. We spent time with the Masked Man in Sunshade Row, standing along the path to the Hunshed Honeybee to add some extra points to our Tolerance Royal Virtue.
06/18
Afternoon
On 08/16, Gallica informed us that Strohl wanted to speak, so we traveled to Sunlilmeo Street to find him at his usual spot in front of Nau Filono Tavern. Talk with Stohl and agree to go with him. This will result in Strohl’s bond reaching Rank 3, giving you a new Archetype to study.
Night
Upon returning to the Hushed Honeybee, Gallica informed us that Brigitta was looking for you. Speak with her, agreeing to go to work. You can check out our Brigitta bond guide if you require more information.
06/19
Afternoon
On 06/19, we will complete the Man’s Not-So Best Friend bounty. You can pick it up by traveling to the Recruitment Centre at the Regalith Grand Cathedral and speaking with the Recruiter Dispatcher behind the counter. Back in town, the party will stop by the tavern or inn to rest up following their adventures in Tradia Desert.
06/20
Afternoon
Travel to the Recruitment Centre to turn in the bounty and claim your reward. After that, you may want to check out the shops as it’s discount day! Once you’ve completed that, we will spend the afternoon getting to know the Activist Woman near Comfort Concoctions on Sunshade Row.
Night
Tonight, we’re going to hang out with Brigitta to increase her bond level to Rank 4. You can check out our Brigitta bond guide to learn what new abilities unlock.
