How to Start the Master of All: Ch. 5 El the Swordsman Quest
To begin the Master of All: Ch. 5 El the Swordsman quest in Octopath Traveler 0 after completing the Master of All: Ch. 4 Wise King Solon quest. The recommended level for this quest is 30.
Master of All: Ch. 5 El the Swordsman Walkthrough
Edoras has annihilated Riven and threatens to consolidate its power. In the face of a powerful enemy, King Solon and the swordsman El are forced to fight.
Head to the castle in Shepherds Rock
First, travel to Shepherds Rock in the Highlands Regions then make your way north and speak with the guard at the castle’s entrance to officially begin the quest.
Search for the swordsman El
After you gain control, head south to Shepherds Rock then leave via the southeastern exit to reach Shepherds Rock Pass. From there, head to the southeastern corner to reach the Valley of Death: East. Once there, follow the path south then head west when you reach the save point to find El and speak with her.
Proceed through the Valley of Death
After gaining control, travel through the Valley of Death: East to the Valley of Death. Once there, head south towards the objective. When you arrive, a cutscene will trigger. Once it ends, head forward just a bit more to trigger another cutscene with Gonzalez the Ironman.
Boss Fight: Gonzalez the Ironman
For this fight, you will face Gonzalez the Ironman.
You can steal Smite of Fury Mastery from Gonzalez the Ironman!

Head to the main encampment
After the fight, continue following the path through the Valley of Death: West to trigger a cutscene!
Boss Fight: General Krauser
For this fight, you will face General Krauser and two General’s Subordinates. You’ll notice that all vulnerabilities will be locked at the beginning of the battle. Once you eliminate one subordinate, you will gain access to three of his vulnerabilities. After both subordinates have been defeated, all his vulnerabilities will become accessible. In addition, he’ll gain more shield and the following will be buffed: physical attack, physical defense and speed.
You can steal Dragon’s Scarf from General Krauser!

After the battle, press forward to the main encampment. During the cutscene, Princess Elrica will face King Pardis III in battle alone. It’s scripted, so just keep doing damage!

After Elrica loses, a cutscene will trigger, and you’ll escape with King Solon. The quest will the complete.
