MarineAngemon Overview (In-Game Profile)
A seldom-seen Pixie Digimon that dwells in the Net Ocean. Despite the “Angemon” in its name, it’s actually completely distinct from the Angemon species in terms of its ecosystem.
The ring around MarineAngemon’s neck is called a Holy Ring, causing speculation that it has some relation to Holy Digimon such as Gatomon or Angewomon, who also wear such rings. The characters inscribed on its ring have yet to be deciphered.
Though MarineAngemon generally avoids combat, its special move, Ocean Love, causes foes to lose the will to fight, thereby guaranteeing victory.

Where to Find MarineAngemon
MarineAngemon cannot be found while exploring the Human or Digital worlds. To add MarineAngemon as a partner in Digimon Story Time Stranger, you’ll need to digivolve a lower-generation Digimon or de-digivolve a higher-generation Digimon into MarineAngemon. Refer to the MarineAngemon Digivolution section below for more information.
MarineAngemon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
MarineAngemon can de-digivolve into the following forms:
Digivolution
Digivolution is the process of evolving a Digimon into a stronger form. Each Digimon can evolve along multiple branches depending on its stats, level, and personality. To digivolve a Digimon, you must meet certain requirements.
MarineAngemon cannot digivolve into any forms.
