To begin the Mapping the Living Lands: Dawnshore side quest in Avowed, speak with Sanza just south of Ivona’s Threshold Party Camp, which is north of Claviger’s Landing.

Find the Cartographer in Dawnshore
Travel to Usher’s Hand east of Paradis in the Southern Embrace. When you reach the search area, skeletons will attack. Take care of them then look for some ruins. At the top of the ruins, you’ll find the corpse of the cartographer. Loot Geirmund’s Map.
Return the Dawnshore Cartographer’s Notes to Sanza
Return to Sanza at his emporium on the southeastern side of the High Market. The Mapping the Living Lands: Dawnshore quest will end.
