Brenda has left a “special” gift for her husband hidden in the reservoir, and it’s up to you to drain the water and retrieve it. How to Start the Love in the Time of Eridium Poisoning Quest
To begin the Love in the Time of Eridium Poisoning side mission in Borderlands 4, speak with Brenda in The Dunk.
How to Complete the Love in the Time of Eridium Poisoning Quest
Brenda left a gift for her husband within the reservoir. You’ll have to drain the water and bring it back to her in order to save her totally normal marriage.
Talk to cooling plant foreman
After accepting the mission, exit the room and head up the stairs. Interact with the intercom to the right of the door.
You’ll then need to head inside and clear out the enemies.
Shut down plant
Next, pull the lever in the middle of the room to shut down the plant.
Prime first pump
The first pump is located on the west side of the room. Pull the lever, then shoot the paddle near the green light to the right of the lever. They will appear in the following order: right, down, up, and left. We found that a Jakobs works best for this!
Prime second pump
The next pump can be found on the southern side of the room. Again, you’ll need to cycle the pump by shooting the paddles. When the enemies spawn, you’ll need to take them out!
Prime third pump
The third pump can be found on the northern side of the room. Do the same thing as before!
Shut down plant
Return to the machine in the center of the room and pull the lever.
Join Brenda in reservoir
Return to where you met Brenda then jump down into the newly empty hole. Inside the room, you’ll find Brenda. When things turn south, take her out, then loot Brenda’s Log ECHO Log and the Key Card. Use it to open the break room. Inside, the quest will complete.
