To unlock the Learning About Emotions trophy in Lies of P, you’ll need to collect every gesture available throughout the game. These gestures are scattered across multiple chapters and can be easy to miss if you’re not paying close attention. Chapter I
Check Ground
This is the starting gesture. You’ll get it automatically when starting the game.
Sit
This is a starting gesture. You’ll get it automatically when starting the game.
Show Off Clothes
Speak with Antonia, the woman in a green dress, who is sitting in a wheelchair, at Hotel Krat.
Chapter II
Remembrance
From the “Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard” Stargazer, head through the hole in the wall and go across the boards. Take a right, walking across the boards, and enter the bedroom to find a frozen man.
Read the Frozen Man’s Letter to acquire this gesture.
Chapter III
Stalker’s Promise
To acquire the Stalker’s Promise gesture, defeat the Survivor Stalker miniboss located in the Workshop Union Culvert.
Fear
Speak with Venigni in Venigni Works.
Swagger
To obtain the Swagger gesture, speak with Venigni at Hotel Krat after completing Chapter III.
Chapter IV
Pray
First, you must give Cecile the Archbishop’s Holy Mark then defeat the Archbishop. After defeating the Archbishop, return to where Cecile was standing in the St. Frangelico Cathedral Library. Read Cecile’s Written Confession to get the Pray gesture.
Now that you know the Pray gesture, return to the St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel Stargazer. Head out the front door and follow the long walkway to the end, where you’ll find a large angel statue.
Pray to this statue to get “The Ergo is whispering”, which means that your character is working towards being human.
Chapter V
Taunt
You’ll acquire the Taunt gesture after defeating the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss.
Clap
From the Malum District Town Hall Stargazer, enter the closest building with the puppet hanging from the chandelier inside.
You’ll then want to take a left and head through a door at the bottom of the stairs to reach the Portrait of a Boy.
Afterwards, speak with Geppetto, and he’ll hang it on his wall. As a reward, you’ll receive the Clap gesture.
Chapter VI
Sad
Complete Julian the Gentleman’s quest.
Chapter VII
Beg
In the area with the Grand Exhibition Conference Room Stargazer, speak with Red Fox and Black Cat on the trolley platform leading to the next area and give them a Gold Coin Fruit to receive the Quixotic Record and Beg Gesture. You can get the Gold Coin Fruit at Hotel Krat.
Respect
After defeating the boss, you’ll receive a key. Backtrack to the Grand Exhibition Gallery Stargazer and use this key to open the locked door. Inside, you’ll see the Saintess of Mercy Statue and acquire this gesture.
Chapter VIII
Greet
Speak with Antonia in Hotel Krat after giving her the cure.
Chapter IX
Anger
You’ll automatically acquire this gesture during the main story when you speak with Antonia in Hotel Krat.
Chapter XI
Happy
Speak with Test Subject 826 in the Arche Abbey Outer Wall area.
Entreat
If you choose to free Sophia of her pain, you’ll get this gesture at the Ascension Bridge.
