Chapter III – Workshop Union Entrance Riddle
From the Workshop Union Entrance Stargazer in Chapter III, turn around and head up the two ladders on the scaffolding.
Follow the walkway down to the entrance. From there, head across the bridge and take a left through the open gate.
Follow the path to the end, where you’ll hear a ringing payphone.
Answer the payphone and you’ll win an exclusive, obtrusive, intrusive, transmittal, aka the first of many riddles from Arlecchino, the King of All Riddles. Your riddle is as follows:
By morning, it walks on feet numbering four. At mid-day just two, no less and no more. It walks on three feet when the evening arrives. And if you solve this then I’ll know you’re alive!
The answer is “Human“! For answering this riddle correctly, you’ll receive the Trinity Key.
Chapter V – Malum District Riddle
When facing the front of the bonfire, enter the alley to the right and follow it around to the left. Eventually, you’ll reach the inside of a building with a ladder across the room. Climb up the ladder to reach the payphone and answer the call to hear your riddle:
I stand tall and proud when I’m young and bold. But I’m short and humble once I’ve gotten old. What am I?
The answer is “Candle“. As a reward, you’ll receive a Trinity Key.
Chapter VII – Grand Exhibition Gallery
Follow the main path until you reach the area with the train in the middle of the room. It will be on the walkway overlooking the train on the main path. Answer the payphone to hear the riddle:
What cannot be used before it breaks?
The answer is “Egg“. As a reward, you’ll receive the “King of Riddles’ Hint”, which says “Behold the fingertips of the cold woman at the Grand Exhibition!”.
Head to the room with the train in the center. On the opposite side of the doorway that leads to the Grand Exhibition, you’ll find a room with two golden statues. Just before these statues, turn the white lady on the right twice so she is facing the correct way.
This will cause a secret compartment between the two gold statues to open, allowing you to retrieve the Trinity Key.
Chapter X – Relic of Trismegistus Entrance
This ringing payphone can be found along the main path after the elite enemy that busts through a wall. Answer the phone to hear your riddle:
This blue flower has many ways to take root. But only on man does it ever bear fruit.
The answer is “Ergo“.
First, you must purchase a bright red apple from Polendina at Hotel Krat. Next, travel to the Estella Opera House Stage Stargazer then head back through the opera house, passing the swinging chandelier.
In the hallway, take a left and go down two flights of stairs. On the left, look for a gold statue and offer a bright red apple to receive the Trinity Key.
Chapter XI – Relic of Trismegistus Entrance
After opening all the above trinity doors, return to the payphone at the Relic of Trismegistus Entrance to find that it’s ringing again. Your riddle this time will be as follows:
Is Geppetto’s creation a killer? Confess!
The answer is “Yes“. As a reward, you will receive The Chosen One’s Trinity Key.
Trinity Doors
Trinity Keys are special items used to unlock Trinity Doors, which guard valuable items!
Venigni Works Control Room Trinity Door
From the Stargazer, drop down to the ledge below then turn right and head through the doorway. Take a left and keep heading straight until you reach the end. Turn right and keep heading straight. When you reach the giant orange pipe on your left, go right and follow the path into a hallway. The trinity door will be on the left towards the end of the hallway.
St. Frangelico Cathedral Library Trinity Door
From the Stargazer, take the elevator up then follow the path across the moving gears. Follow the path until you eventually reach the area with the balls. Head to the highest point to find the trinity door in a hallway with the rolling balls.
Inside this room, you’ll find the following items:
- Black Cat’s Amulet
- Monster Sweeper’s Hunting Apparel
Estella Opera House Entrance Trinity Door
Head to the room with the swinging flaming chandelier and drop down through the hole in the floor to find the trinity door. Use a key to open it. Inside, you’ll find the following items:
- Belford Superior Radiation Converter
- Quartz.
Krat Central Station Lobby Trinity Door
From the Stargazer, go up the stairs. Go through the triple doorway and take a left through a doorway. Head down the stairs to find the Trinity Door.
Open the safe inside to receive the following items:
- Workshop Master’s Workwear
- Carrier’s Amulet +1
Arche Abbey Outer Wall Trinity Door
This Trinity Door can be found on the bottom floor of a room with numerous arches and columns.
Inside, you’ll discover Arlecchino, King of Riddles. He’ll ask a final question:
Are you a puppet? Or a human being? Which one are you?
The correct answer is “Human“.
