How to Start the Laboratores Quest
The Laboratores main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance II will begin automatically after completing the Fortuna main quest.

Figure how to get to von Bergow
After approaching the two women, you’ll be reprimanded by the old lady due to your stench. Head past the ladies to wash up in the trough. Afterward, speak with Katherine who will deny everything. There will be a persuasion check, where you’ll only have a speech option. It’ll be high, and you probably won’t have enough to succeed. Eventually, Henry will plead once more and she’ll give you some direction on how to reach von Bergow.

At the tavern, approach a pair of men, Miller Kreyzl and Blacksmith Radovan, sitting at a table. Ask them about the wedding. During the conversation, you’ll have an opportunity to gain or lose your reputation.

After asking about the wedding, also mention that you’re looking for work. Both will offer you a job and say that they will even consider bringing you to the wedding as their plus one.
Tell Capon about getting work
Return to Hans and speak with him. During your conversation, you’ll have several options where you can gain or lose reputation.
- I can’t work! I’m a noble! What if someone saw me?!
- Alright, I’ll do it by myself. (Gained)
- As if the disgrace at the gate wasn’t enough. Uch!
- Don’t be spoilt! (Gained)
- You’ll just have to try it. (Lost)
- So if you find me a sword, I can get to work…
- I’ll carry the sacks by myself. (Gained)
- It’s a wonder your tongue isn’t aching! (Lost)
- Nobody here needs a warrior. (Lost)
- I simply cannot carry sacks!
- There’s nothing else for it. (Lost)
- Let’s leave aside your aristocratic status. (Lost)
- Stop behaving like a brat! (Lost)
Carry the sacks
The sacks can be found in a nearby wagon northeast of the sitting area. Interact with each sack to pick it up and carry it into the tavern through the doorway underneath the wreath. Once inside, head straight, passing a stack of barrels on your right. Immediately after the barrels, take a right to find another room. In this room, place the sacks on the pallet past the stairs. When you drop off the third sack, exit the tavern to trigger an event where Hans will get into it with the bailiff’s son.

Defend Capon
After the conversation, you’ll then engage in a fight against the group of men. Battle them until the soldiers show up and throw you in the stockade! After the lengthy cutscene, the Laboratores main quest will end, and the Wedding Crashers main quest will begin.
After the cutscene you’ll receive the This Won’t End Well Trophy!
