Kiwimon Overview (In-Game Profile)

A mysterious Ancient Digimon said to have been hunted to extinction due to the proliferation of the Internet. The wings of this Bird Digimon have completely degenerated, preventing it from taking flight. Kiwimon also bears some aspects of a Vegetation Digimon, with leaf-like objects growing from its head that it uses to absorb nutrients through photosynthesis.

It has no way to defend itself aside from the hard shell covering its head, and its docile personality makes it an easy target.

Kiwimon’s special move is Pummel Peck, attacking with the ChibiKiwimon hidden in its body. The beaks of the ChibiKiwimon are just as hard as Kiwimon‘s, and they explode when struck. Even if this explosion chars them to a crisp, ChibiKiwimon will always bounce back.

Kiwimon Digivolution

Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.

Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.

De-Digivolution

In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:

  • Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
  • Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.

Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
