To begin the Kindlers of the Flame: Ch. 2 The Young Boy Basil quest in Octopath Traveler 0, speak with Phenn in Wishvale.
Kindlers of the Flame: Ch. 2 The Young Boy Basil Walkthrough
As Phenn, a senior member of the watch, returns to town, the restoration of Wishvale takes a big step forward. Around the same time, a smaller, familiar form casts its shadow in town.
Speak to Phenn in Wishvale
Speak with Phenn outside his tavern in Wishvale to officially begin the quest.
Search for Margot
After the lengthy cutscene, travel to Valor by crossing through the following areas:
- Wishvale Trail
- West Emberglow Wilds
- Valore Trail
Once you arrive in Valore, make your way to Valore: Main Boulevard. There, enter the church on the northern side of the area and speak with the blond-haired guy.
Next, exit the church and head south along the main boulevard to reach the Path to Herminia’s Manse.
Once there, make your way to the northwestern side of the area where you’ll find Margot.
First, use the Path Action to Inquire, then invite her to Wishvale.
Bring Margot back to meet Basil
Fast travel to Wishvale and speak with Basil near the plants.
Regrow the Vegetables
After the cutscene, speak with Margot near the construction box. Use Inquire on her to receive Tips on Vegetable Farming. Once you receive the information, return to Basil and tell him what you’ve learned.
When the lengthy cutscene concludes, so will the quest! The building area will then expand, and you’ll receive the following items:
- Tomato Seed
- Tomato Salad Recipe
