Digimon Story Time Stranger Kapurimon Field Guide

Kapurimon Overview (In-Game Profile)
A small, In-Training Digimon wearing a metal helmet. The two horns on the helmet contain antennae that can transmit all sorts of radio waves or sounds.
Kapurimon has batlike traits, emitting ultrasonic waves from its mouth and recognizing objects ahead of it from the rebounding waves, instead of relying on its weak eyesight. This allows it to remain active no matter what time of day or night it is. Kapurimon uses its special move Howling Hertz to make its two horns resonate. Anyone hit by this attack has their hearing paralyzed, even large Digimon.

The scan percentage can go as high as 200%, and the closer you are to that maximum when converting, the higher the Digimon’s Max HP and Talent base stats will be.
You can find Kapurimon at the listed locations:
- Central Tower
- Steel Point
Additionally, you can digivolve a lower-generation Digimon or de-digivolve a higher-generation Digimon into Kapurimon. Refer to the Kapurimon Digivolution section below for more information.
Kapurimon Digivolution
Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.
Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is important, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.
De-Digivolution
In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:
- Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
- Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.
Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
Kapurimon can de-digivolve into the following forms:
