How to Start the It’s a Whole Phase Situation Quest
To begin the It’s a Whole Phase Situation side mission in Borderlands 4, speak with Watching Gee along the western edge of The Low Leys, directly west of The Thirst Scrap. This mission will become available during the His Vile Sanctum main mission.
How to Complete the It’s a Whole Phase Situation Quest
A poor, watchful soul is missing their lost kitty. Follow the trail of clues to help fix the undoubtedly super normal situation.
Find Mori
To find Mori’s last known location, travel to the northwest of the Heritage Opus safehouse in Cuspid Climb. When you arrive, kill the creeps then loot the candle that drops from one of them.
Next, travel to the Heritage Opus safehouse to find a shrine behind the vending machines and place the candle on the altar.
Reach light
To reach the light beam directly to the southeast of the shrine, you will need to pass through the Heart of the Mountain.
Enter cave
When you reach the light, look to your left to find a cave with a barrier blocking the entrance. Shoot the barrier, then head inside. When sliding down, hug the right side to see a side path. At the end of this path, interact with the ECHO Log.
Help Mori escape
Continue forward, heading deeper into the cave, until you find the purple cat. To form a bridge, jump across the gap and land on the climbable wall. From there, you’ll be able to reach the lever.
Next, speak with Mori then enter the rift that appears. Once inside, defeat the enemies then continue into the next rift. You’ll again need to fight the enemies here then loot the ECHO Log.
When you are ready, continue to the next rift and fight the next wave of enemies, which will be rippers.
After briefly seeing Mori next to a purple barrier, it will disappear, allowing you to continue. Slid down deeper into the mountain and kill all the rippers at the bottom.
After clearing out the rippers, head through yet another portal to reach an upper ledge then follow Mori to another rift. This rift will bring you outside!
Return to Watching Gee
After exiting the cave, travel to the Heritage Opus safehouse and speak with Watching Gee. Once you do, the mission will end.
