How to Start the Into the Underworld Quest
The Into the Underworld main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance II will automatically begin after completing the Speak of the Devil main quest.
Into the Underworld Walkthrough
Talk to Katherine
Travel to Kuttenberg and speak with Katherine at the Hangman’s Halter Tavern.
Find Goatskin
Head over to the Hole in the Wall and be sure to take a good look at the sign if you haven’t already. 🙂
Speak with Knuckles, who’s leaning against the door on the outside of the tavern, and ask him about Goatskin. He’ll send you to Chenyek.
Head inside the Hole in the Wall and ask Chenyek, who can be found sitting at a table, about Goatskin. You can either buy him a drink for 200 groschen or convince him that you belong here by passing a persuasion check. Alternatively, you could ask him if he needs work done.

Speak with Miner Lazar in the Black Horse Tavern at night to learn of Goatskin’s girlfriend.

Head to the City Bathhouse in the southern part of Kuttenberg. Once there, speak with Hanka from Prague. Afterward, speak with Lousy Mary about Goatskin. You’ll need to persuade her to tell you where Goatskin can be found.
Find Goatskin
Across from the Black Horse Tavern, use the prompt to investigate. You’ll see the odd window and will then need to figure how to get up there.
Head to the backyard of the nearby tailor. Enter the barn then climb up the ladder. At the top, turn around and follow the boards through the hole in the wall. Drop down into the next barn then climb up the ladder. Head northwest then drop down outside. In front of you, you’ll see a wagon. Climb up it then go through the wagon to find a hideout.
He won’t be there at night, so wait until 8 a.m. Once you find him, speak with him. He’ll want 150 groschen to spill the beans.
Talk to Samuel
During the day, speak with Samuel at the synagogue in the northeastern part of Kuttenberg. He’ll need you to fix a problem before he tells you anything.
Infiltrate the antisemites’ meeting
Travel to the northeastern side of Kuttenberg at midnight. Once you arrive, a cutscene will trigger and you’ll engage in a fight against two men. After the cutscene, the Into the Underworld main quest will end and the Via Argentum will begin!
