What is Purifying Equipment?
In Metaphor ReFantazio, certain pieces of equipment you can come across can be purified. Doing this enhances them, making their stats stronger and adding new special traits.
How to Purify Equipment
Before you can purify your equipment, you’ll first need to raise your Wisdom Royal Attribute up to Rank 2 Informed. The easiest way to do this is to start the Help the Hushed Honeybee quest in the afternoon and then do the View of the Royal Capital activity near the Lycaon Magic Association shop. This will transition the time of day to night. You’ll then help out at the Hushed Honeybee, which will progress from time to the next day, allowing you to complete the Help the Hushed Honeybee quest. As a reward, you’ll be given 4 points of Wisdom, which will be enough to level you from Rank 1 up to Rank 2.
Now that that’s done, to purify equipment, you must take any piece of equipment that can be purified to a church and speak with Sanctor behind the altar. Selecting the “Purify” option will bring you to a menu where you’ll see your gear that can be purified. It will also list the required materials you need to purify the gear, along with the cost. From there, you can select the piece of equipment you want to purify. The first place you can do this is at St. Fermis Chruch, located on the northwestern corner of Sunlumeo Street.
