The Absconder Encounter side quest in Hogwarts Legacy can be started by speaking with Edgar Adley who is manning a stall in Aranshire. He’ll want you to collect an heirloom watch from the Absconder’s Cave, which can be found in the Forbidden Forest just south of the North Ford Bog Entrance Floo Flame. Once you find the cave, head inside to greet the massive Level 32 Absconder! Watch out as this big guy packs a punch!
Upon successfully defeating this spider, use Revelio to spot the Heirloom Pocket Watch on the ground next to a chest and bag in a room blocked by a spider web. Grab the watch then return to Edgar to complete the quest! You’ll receive the Checkerboard-Brown Wand Handle appearance and 300 gold.
