How to Start the Hammer and Tongs Quest
To begin the Hammer and Tongs task in Kingdom Come Deliverance II, speak with Zdimir the blacksmith in Grund.
Hammer and Tongs Walkthrough
Forge a competition hunting sword
To make a competition sword, you’ll need 2 steel, 1 scrap metal, and 1 fastening material. Once you have the material, forge the “competition sword”, not the regular “hunting sword”.
Take part in the blacksmithing competition
After crafting the competition sword, speak with Blacksmith Zdimir to show him the sword. You’ll receive 200 groschen for winning the bet. Matthias will then challenge you to a duel. You can agree, talk him out of it, or surrender. If you choose to fight him and win, speak with him afterward. You’ll get the competition hunting sword.
