Guilmon Overview (In-Game Profile)

A Digimon resembling a young dinosaur. Although Guilmon is still a Rookie Digimon, it possesses a carnivore’s brutality and the great potential as a fighting species that all Digimon naturally possess. The mark on its abdomen is called a Digital Hazard, and is inscribed on any Digimon with the ability to cause serious damage to computer data.

Still, if used for the sake of peace, this ability could potentially make this Digimon a guardian of the Digital World. Guilmon can use its signature move Rock Breaker to destroy even stone with its rugged front claws.

Guilmon Digivolution

Digivolution is the process that allows your Digimon to grow stronger and unlock new forms. Each Digivolution path has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level, achieving a minimum stat threshold, or meeting personality and bond conditions.

Some Digimon also require special items or story progression to evolve. Choosing when and how to Digivolve is essential, since certain evolutions may branch into multiple options, giving you flexibility in shaping your partner’s role in battle.

De-Digivolution

In Digimon Story Time Stranger, de-digivolution allows you to return a Digimon to a previous form. Unlike standard digivolution, which requires stat thresholds and level milestones, de-digivolution has its own conditions. To de-digivolve a Digimon, one of the following requirements must be met:

  • Encounter requirement: The Target Digimon must have already been encountered at least once during your playthrough.
  • Personality requirement: The Target Digimon’s base Personality must match the current Digimon’s Personality.

Meeting either condition will unlock the option to de-digivolve, giving you more flexibility in reshaping your team and experimenting with different evolutionary paths.
